The Making of a Godly Warrior - A First Nations Teaching for The Body of Messiah

Updated: Jul 19, 2019

There is a fight that we must fight and it is called the good fight; for what is true and sacred as well as the fight for maturing and growing in training as warriors in these end times. This teaching including the audio teaching at the bottom of the page is on the Making of a Godly Warrior. We explore some of the biblical views on what a warrior should and should not be and how you can change circumstances in your life when you begin to walk in the warrior calling and authority that you were destined to walk in. The Bride of Messiah must learn to wield the sword of the spirit and be prepared for the battles to come. It is time to stop swinging the axe of doctrinal traditions as weapons against one another so we can focus on the greater enemy. The training begins with each of us as individuals which is why discipleship is vital to a well trained and honed warrior.

What can Native Americans teach believers about being a warrior? In many First Nations tribes there were warriors who were elite and set-apart from the other warriors. When the village was under attack these particular warriors were the ones who would drive a war lance into the ground and then tie themselves to it. Knowing the enemy was coming this was a clear message to their aggressors. I will not retreat, I will not surrender, I will die before you move me from this place. This sacrifice of life so that others would live is what gave the elders, women, and children time to escape. This is what Chief Corner Stone Yeshua did when he gave his life so all nations of people would live. His War Lance was the execution stake the Romans nailed him to and he didn't back down from the fight that he was born to win for eternity.

Scripture tells us that Creator is a warrior and He is the one who trains us and prepares us for battle:

Psalm 144:1  Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

There is a time for war and a time for peace. There are times when we must turn the tables in order to cleanse The Temple before The Creator can really move in our lives. There are times when we must take up the fight for breakthrough in our lives and in the lives of others. Warriors understand that in order for there to be peace there must be war and we are locked in a constant spiritual battle with incessant attacks by the enemy to destroy your peace, health, relationships, finances and whatever it takes to make you look bad to the world.

Why does it matter if you look bad? because if trickster can make you, a professing believer, look bad in the eyes of the world then he has effectively made The Creator look bad because the world will judge Creator through your actions and life.

This teaching was filmed live at the Native American Conference on the White Earth, MN Anishinaabe Reservation. Click on the play button to learn more on how to become a Godly Warrior.
