Water purification is essential for survival.
Bring with you to class:
poncho or rain coat (not an umbrella)
hat to keep the sun and rain out of your face
water bottle (the non-disposable kind)
a bottle of rubbing alcohol
a pair of kitchen shears or scissors (for cutting up tender herbs)
a gallon of water for washing herbs
the supplies that you purchased from the list we sent
paracord, if you have it (rope or shoe laces - not in shoes - would do)
a backpack for the above items so you can be hands-free
a walking stick is encouraged but optional
Please come appropriately and respectfully attired. There are brambles and briars; it's rough land.
If you have any allergies, please bring your medications, including epipens.
Note: There are bees, horses, dogs, cats, and unknown wildlife on the property. Participants must sign a liability waiver at the beginning of each class.
Thank you and we are really looking forward to class with you!
P.S. Concerning the location: Some people have spotty cell phone service (AT&T) and some have none. We are located on the second fence opening on the right side after turning onto Denver Bible Lane (also called Denver Bible Rd) where the old red covered bridge is. Parking is in the open field.
