Reconciliation
"And it is all from God, who through the Messiah has reconciled us to himself and has given us the work of that reconciliation, which is that God in the Messiah was reconciling mankind to himself, not counting their sins against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation."
People sometimes ask why FireKeepers International participates in reconciliation. "Hasn't that already been done?" or "Doesn't that emphasize our differences and promote division and racism?" Well, first off, it's Biblical to be in a ministry of reconciliation; each of us should be! But beyond that, there are many people out there who still need healing from racial divides and prejudices. We are all too willing to help people heal and come into a walk of what Yeshua deemed to be the second greatest command: to love your neighbor as yourself. After all, this is a major step in seeing Yeshua's last prayer before the cross (John 17:20-23) - the prayer for unity - realized!
Reconciling Man to His Maker:

Works to enact the first great command...

"Rabbi, which of the mitzvot in the Torah is the most important?" He told him, "`You are to love YHWH your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.' This is the greatest and most important mitzvah."
~ Matthew 22:36-38

Reconciling Mankind to each other:

Works to enact the second great command...

"And a second is similar to it, `You are to love your neighbor as yourself.' All of the Torah and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot."
~ Matthew 22:39-40
